Our state-of-the-art, hygienic production facilities are accredited to British Retail Consortium standards and this is where our talented team use only the finest ingredients to produce fresh and frozen products that meet individual customer specifications.

1990Richard Watts started Classic Catering to supply Patisserie to restaurants in direct Manchester area. Original manufacturing unit based in Ardwick close to Manchester city centre (600 Square Foot).
1994Business Incorporated i.e. became a Limited Liability Company. Heataction Ltd was formed.
1999Manufacturing moved to Unit 1, Tavistock Industrial Estate, Railway Street Gorton. Turnover at this stage was £700,000 per year.
2005Opened Classic Catering London Depot, in Wembley London to service Southern England.
2006Started supply network throughout Scotland.
2007Opened dedicated 10,000 square foot Storage and Distribution Depot with main administration offices at Ashton Old Road, Openshaw, Manchester.
2011Purchased entire site at Railway Street (all 5 Industrial Units).
2013Rebranded to Destiny Foods from Classic Catering.
2015Moved Administration and Storage and distribution to 30,000 square foot industrial unit with extensive yardage at Preston Street, Gorton. Phase 1 cold store development 800 pallets for order picking. T/O £13 M
2016-2017Phase 2 Cold Store Development, construct 700 pallet bulk storage extension to current cold store at Preston Street (in existing premises).
2016Destiny Foods is bought by La Compagnie des Desserts group
